Haloween in Guam
Originally, Kibby and the kids were going to fly to Korea and meet me there, but we rescheduled to have them meet me in Guam for our 4-day port visit. We stayed at the Pacific Islands Club hotel which is perfect for families and had one of the best water parks and beach facilities I've ever seen.
Guam pretty much has the same weather all year round. When it rains it lasts about 20 minutes and then you get a rainbow and 80 degree weather again. We were greeted by a rainbow our first morning there.
This is a view off our balcony showing the water park and facilities. Five pools, two big water slides, a kayaking lake, free windsurfing lessons, sea kayaks, and a few sailboats. Pretty awesome. Kibby and I took one night and got a babysitter for the kids and just played on the water slides and then watched the fire dancer show afterwards.
Iain and Annie liked having breakfast outside every morning. Annie has something very important to say, but I'm not sure what it is.
Then we went Trick-or-Treating for Halloween!! The park was set up well for the kids with lots of stations set up for Trick-or-Treats and lots of activities. Iain was a Knight and Annie was a Pumpkin.

And then for the food category, Annie the Pumpkin and her favorite Hot Dog (Mary Scott).

The next day was a beach day. Tumon Bay is a great beach with warm, shallow, crystal clear water. You can see right through to the bottom even in water up to your chest. There are tons of colorful tropical fish that swim all around you.
But, Iain doesn't care too much for the water so we had to play in the sand. We decided to build a sand castle. It was the most awesome castle ever. Libby and Mary Scott came over and asked if they could smash it. Apparently, they never get past one or two towers before they have to knock it down. We held them off long enough to snap a few photos. Then all the kids pounced on it.
Iain was good at getting us water when we needed it for the walls.
And no matter how much coffee we gave Annie, she just wouldn't stay awake.

Our last day there we enjoyed the pool. Annie had a good time splashing in the water and Iain took a nap in the hammock.
Kibby was proud of the "Motz Baby Hair Wave" she put on Annie. She says Anna Mae will appreciate it.
Iain was enjoying his hammock ride until Kibby came over and started to tickle him!!
On our way back to the room every day we had to cross what Iain dubbed the Troll Bridge. He would hop up and down all the way across it scaring trolls away.
Kibby and I decided we needed another self portrait.
And, our last sunset in Guam. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back when the ship pulls in again next year.

It's not that Annie had something to say, she is after all the granddaughter of the finger waving grandma.
I want to go to Guam! Actually, any beach would do at this point! I love Annies thighs in her "sleeping stroller" picture. It is probably the only time in our lives where baby fat thighs are adorable! It looks like your family had great "family time" togetherness!
